Please refer to the email sent to your ASU email account for details. Below are the most common reasons why a review would not processed.
1. You or your parent did not sign the review.
2. You or your parent did not attach a detailed letter of explanation.
3. The review was submitted after the submission deadline date.
4. You or your parent did not attach supporting documentation such as:
• paid receipts (not billing statements)
• marriage certificate
• divorce decree or legal separation paperwork
• W-2
• last pay stub with year-to-date earnings
• tax return transcript
• unemployment benefits documentation
• severance pay documentation
• signed letter from a childcare provider
• death certificate
• survivor benefits documentation (i.e., Social Security survivor benefits, life insurance distributions, annuities, etc.)
If you did not receive an email explaining why the verification documents were returned, check your Spam or Junk folder. If the document was returned today, the email may still be pending. Email generation can take up to 24 hours.
