Will There Be Any TEACH Grant Funds for the Summer Semester?

« Go Back

Functional GroupFinancial Aid
The federal government has set annual and lifetime limits on the Federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant program. The annual limit is $4,000 a year. The cumulative maximum is $16,000 for an undergraduate student or a post-baccalaureate who is enrolled in the teacher credential program.  There is an $8,000 cumulative maximum if you are a graduate student.

Please note: The TEACH Grant maximum award amounts are adjusted each year due to the sequestration.

If you have not received your entire TEACH Grant eligibility for the fall/spring semesters ($4,000 per academic year) and based on your enrolled credit hours for the summer semester, you may receive some or all of your remaining TEACH Grant eligibility.
Additional information can be found on our TEACH Grant website.
