What are the graduation requirements for Barrett students?

To graduate from Barrett, you must complete both your ASU degree requirements and Barrett honors requirements, including a minimum 3.25 ASU cumulative GPA, by the time your ASU degree is conferred.

Honors requirements by Barrett entry type:

First-Year Entry (Lower Division)

• 36 total honors credits (at least 18 must be upper-division)

• Completion of The Human Event sequence (HON 171 & 272)

• Approved honors thesis 

Upper Division Entry (Transfer)

• 21 total upper-division honors credits

• Completion of The History of Ideas (HON 370)

• Approved honors thesis

• 21 total honors credits

• Completion of The History of Ideas (HON 370)

• Approved honors thesis
