How do Barrett students earn honors credit?

Information

To graduate from Barrett, you must earn a set number of honors credits through enriched academic experiences at ASU, which include the following:

 

  • Required Honors seminars (e.g., The Human Event or History of Ideas)
  • Honors thesis
  • Honors-designated courses and HON-prefix classes
  • Honors Enrichment Contracts
  • Undergraduate research or independent study
  • Internships or applied learning experiences
  • Teaching assistant or peer leadership roles
  • Barrett study abroad programs
  • Graduate-level coursework

To receive honors credit, you must also earn a grade of C or better (or “Y” where applicable).
