To graduate from Barrett, you must earn a set number of honors credits through enriched academic experiences at ASU, which include the following:
 
- Required Honors seminars (e.g., The Human Event or History of Ideas)
 - Honors thesis
 - Honors-designated courses and HON-prefix classes
 - Honors Enrichment Contracts
 - Undergraduate research or independent study
 - Internships or applied learning experiences
 - Teaching assistant or peer leadership roles
 - Barrett study abroad programs
 - Graduate-level coursework
 
To receive honors credit, you must also earn a grade of C or better (or “Y” where applicable).
