Universal Learner and Earned Admission

« Go Back
Information

Arizona State University’s Universal Learner program offers flexible online college courses designed and taught by ASU faculty. Learners of all backgrounds can start anytime, explore new subjects, and build college-level skills at their own pace.

After completing courses, learners have the option to earn university credit by paying only if they are satisfied with their grade. This model minimizes financial risk and supports lifelong learning across stages of life and career.

Through the Earned Admission pathway, students who successfully complete Universal Learner courses can demonstrate college readiness and secure admission into an ASU degree program—creating an accessible, low-barrier path into higher education.

Visit ulc.asu.edu to learn more about Universal Learner courses, and ea.asu.edu for details on the Earned Admission pathway.
