Universal Learner Credit Conversion

« Go Back
Information

Information:

After completing a Universal Learner course, you can choose to earn college credit that may be applied toward a degree program at ASU or transferred to another institution.

Steps to Receive Credit

  1. Complete your course:  Finish your Universal Learner course with a final grade of C or better.
  2. Pay the fee:  A new “Add to transcript” button will appear in your learner dashboard. Follow the steps and pay the $400 fee to add the course grade to your ASU transcript.
  3. View your transcript:  Once processed, your credits will appear on your My ASU page and on your official ASU transcript.

Important Notes

  • You have one year from your course completion date to add the course to your ASU transcript.
  • Make sure you’re satisfied with your grade before paying, as you can only transcript a course once.
  • If you’d like to retake a course for a better grade, you can do so the next time it’s offered.
