Information
The ASU Alumni Association's involvement with future alumni begins long before graduation from the university. Our scholarship programs nurture today’s scholars by providing financial support, mentorship from alumni and opportunities for community service. The Alumni Association supports two signature scholarship programs:

  • Legacy Scholarship Award: This scholarship is open to relatives of a current due-paying member of the ASU Alumni Association. Awards are based on evidence of a student's academic success, a strong commitment to community service and university involvement, as well as achievement of personal and education goals. Applicants must have a complete undergraduate admission application and required documents as well as file the FAFSA prior to the scholarship deadline. The application process for the 2020-2021 school year begins Dec. 09, 2019, with a deadline of Feb. 21, 2020.
  • Medallion Scholarship Program: Medallion Scholars are selected from the group of Arizona high school students who have been awarded the ASU Dean's Scholarship (an award that recognizes academic achievement) and choose to participate in the Medallion Scholarship Program selection process. The application process for the 2020–2021 school year begins Dec. 09, 2019, with a deadline of Jan. 24, 2020. Medallion Scholars receive four-year, renewable financial awards of $3,500. To renew the award, the scholar must actively participate in regularly scheduled meetings, community service and maintain a 3.00 cumulative grade point average. A minimum of 12 credit hours must be carried each semester of the academic year.
